JOHN CRAVEN, Director

John Craven was born in South Florida in April of 1981. At 14, he started making films with friends he rollerbladed with. At 21, he made his fifth rollerblade film, left college, and left Florida to NYC to attend NYFA, a one year film school. After that he began writing “Fast Food,” which was based on the homeless people he would talk to while skating with his friends. Now he is working on his next film “Zero.”


ANTHONY E. VALENTIN as Gonzo

Anthony E. Valentin was born November 30, 1982 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. He started acting at the age of 4 in such plays as "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever", "Orphans", "Bye, Bye Birdie", and "Romeo and Juliet". By the age of 15 Anthony got interested in the production side of film, so he went to Los Angeles to intern for his aunt Toni-Marie Martinez. He worked as an intern and production assistant on such productions as "A.F.I 100 years 100 Greatest Films", "The Disney Teacher Awards", "The Tony Awards", and "The Daytime Emmy's". He then graduated in 2003 from the Film and Television Technology program at Valencia College in Orlando, Florida. During which he worked as an actor on such films as "2 Fast, 2 Furious", "Lemonade", "Adair Sentimental", "Insanity", and "Drowning". He has worked in over 25 plays and over 30 films with the most recent films as "Branded", "Closure", and "In Sight". He has also finished a 105 page script about his time in film school and a 90 page script about a mentally disrupted author who has lost his sense of reality. He also hopes to work with John Craven, the director of “Fast Food,” in the future.

 

EMILIANO TORRES as The Trumpet Man

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Emiliano Torres moved to Miami at the age of 8 and has established himself in the music scene since High School, performing with different local bands in Miami. Since then, he has been recording and performing with artists such as Rabanes, Locos Por Juana, Javier Garcia, La Ley, Control Machete, La Secta, Johnny Dread, Oscar D?Leon, and Jorge Moreno. He?s also appeared in the Maverick soundtrack “28 Days Till I?m Famous,” writing the horn arrangements for the song “Just Be Me.” Emiliano currently has his own project “Xperimento” in which he has performed at the Urban Latino Event and the Latin Funk Fest.

JOSH LAMBOY as Raymond White-Sanchez

Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts Josh Lamboy started acting and dancing at a very young age. He would perform anywhere and to anyone willing to watch. He received his formal training in theatre at the STAR academy in Miami. Afterwards he studied musical theatre at Florida School of the Arts where he starred in many of their productions. Upon finishing his training there, he returned to Miami and was a member of LIVE IN COLOR dance crew. Josh has also practiced martial arts since he was 5 and has competed in the U.S. Open. He still continues to practice to this day. Now, Josh currently works as a stunt actor for Universal Studios as Sinbad in "The Eighth Voyage of Sinbad."


RICKY CRUZ as Hector

Ricky Cruz has appeared on various stand-up comedy specials for HBO Galavision, and Comedy Central's Motherload. He was also a featured comedian on the AMC channel program “Date Night.” As well as portraying a young Ernest Hemingway on the History Channel special ?Storm of the century.? Other acting credits included the nationally released film “Shoot Down,” the story of Cuban American pilots who were attacked by the Cuban government. The film was voted best film at the Sonoma valley Film festival. Earlier this year he was a featured performer at the 2008 Comedy Central “South Beach Comedy Festival” and was voted best new comedian by an impressive panel of judges. The judges included representatives from Comedy Central, The William Morris Talent Agency, and Clear Channel media.
